Renowned chef Jiang Zhencheng poses with his artwork “Re-Birth” in his role as an artist.
During the presentation, in addition to appearances by the creators of the exhibited works and the supporting galleries, Jiang Zhencheng also shared how happy he is to be doing what he loves most (referring to wood carving and pottery). The work “Re-Birth,” showcased this time, is his first publicly unveiled wood carving piece as an artist. Works by other Taiwanese artists such as Wu Donglong, Xu Yongxu, and Sa Canru were also displayed at the exhibition.

Additionally, works by five emerging artists guided by Juan Carlo Calma offered reflections on life in the city under various pressures, including themes like home, dining, culture, and continuous motion. These pieces made the “FOOD EXHIBITION & ART TASTING 食 '艺 '无 '界” event even more spectacular, brimming with new energy and inspiration.

This gastronomic and artistic exhibition featuring two cities, nine artists, four chefs, and twelve dishes also marked Jiang Zhencheng’s return to his roots. Back in Taiwan, he revealed the joy of “rebirth” and a reconnection with the path of art. The 12 dishes jointly launched by RAW and Gallery VASK offer diners not only delicious food but also new creativity and inspiration from each piece of artwork.
