Chengfeng Lake

Located on the east side of the Tieren Avenue Chengfengzhuang section in Ranhu Road District, Daqing City, it was formerly known as "Zhouxiazhaopao," a waste dumping site. From 2001 to 2007, Daqing Oilfield carried out the "Chengfeng Lake Environmental Comprehensive Treatment Project" in two phases. After the renovation, the lake and its surrounding scenic area were collectively named "Chengfeng Lake Ecological Park."

Chengfeng Lake Ecological Park covers an area of 310 hectares, including a water surface of 197 hectares, a central island of 7.1 hectares, land area of 120 hectares, lawn area of 41,000 square meters, and flowerbed area of 30,000 square meters. The green coverage rate exceeds 90%.

Major attractions include the Central Island (also known as Conglongzhou), the Landscape Bridge (also known as Yudaibridge), the Harmony Square on the west bank, the Lemin Square and Sailing Wharf on the south bank, the Mufeng Square and Departure Wharf on the north bank, as well as various garden features such as pavilions and corridors. The park also offers recreational facilities for visitors, including pleasure boats, sports fields, and various exercise equipment. Additionally, commercial service outlets such as restaurants are available within the park.

Best time to visit: Daqing is located in the temperate continental monsoon climate zone and is influenced by cold air masses from inland Mongolia and warm oceanic monsoons. The overall climate features cold, snowy winters and windy spring and autumn seasons, with an average annual temperature of 4.7°C. The best travel seasons are summer and autumn.
