The Daqing Youth Science and Technology Museum is a base for science education.

The Daqing Youth Science and Technology Museum covers an area of 4.48 hectares. Construction began in 2007, and it was put into use and opened to the public in October 2008. It is the most fully equipped youth activity venue in Heilongjiang Province.

The Daqing Youth Science and Technology Museum is a public science and cultural education facility established in Daqing. It integrates the promotion of the scientific spirit, popularization of scientific knowledge, and dissemination of scientific thinking. The museum consists of a Science Popularization Pavilion and a Planetarium. The Science Popularization Pavilion includes seven sections—Home · Daqing, Children's Paradise, Information World, National Defense Technology, and others—with 163 exhibits. Its main focus is on cultivating scientific interest among children and teenagers and showcasing scientific achievements. Through extensive science activities, it aims to nurture outstanding young individuals with basic scientific literacy and a spirit of innovation.

The Planetarium consists of a Digital Planetarium, Dome Theater, and 4D Dynamic Cinema, using cutting-edge technology to introduce profound yet everyday scientific concepts to young people.
