The Lotus Pond Ruins are a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Protected area: 3 meters outward from the ruins' boundaries.

Construction control zone: remaining space within the underground palace.

Lu Village: “Where pines and cypresses thrive forever, amidst green hills and ancient cave heavens.” Nestled in the heart of the Dahongshan Scenic Area, Lu Village in Changgang Town lies in a mountain basin north of the large mountain lake (Luohu Lake), backed by the main peak of Dahongshan—Baozhu Peak—and facing the “Sword Mouth Waterfall.” It was historically known as “Luohu Village.”

The Han-Shi and Sui-Yue expressways intersect here. Lu Village is within 180 kilometers of major cities such as Wuhan, Xiaogan, Xiangyang, Yichang, and Jingmen. A tourist loop road built from Changgang Town leads directly to the mountain summit, with dedicated access to the scenic area of Lulin Town in Jingshan.
