Yuelai Park
Covering an area of 56,000 square meters, Yuelai Park in Huanan County includes a thematic sculpture area, a famous trees and flowers area, a lakeside waterside area, a cultural square area, a leisure and entertainment area, and a sports and fitness area. The park’s thematic sculpture is named “Carrying Forward the Past and Opening the Future,” and takes the form of a golden key that unlocks the door to hope. The sculpture stands 12 meters tall in total, and the chronology on the sculpture represents major historical events in Huanan such as its founding and establishment as a county. The relief carvings on the sculpture depict crops, sunshine, and the earth—symbols representing Huanan’s agricultural characteristics. The hollowed-out map at the base is shaped like the map of Huanan County. The sculpture symbolizes a brighter and happier future for Huanan. The nine surrounding relief stone pillars represent the nine townships.
