The Qiandao Forest Scenic Area is a national AAA-level attraction, located on the western bank of the upper reaches of the Wusuli River, which forms part of the China-Russia border. It lies within the Xiaomuling River National Wetland Park (pilot construction site). The area features a scattering of natural islands covered with tree species such as aspen, linden, birch, oak, and elm, along with aquatic vegetation like reeds, cattails, and sedge. With meandering waterways and vast expanses of shimmering blue waters, the landscape is picturesque—a natural masterpiece where forests grow out of the water and water flows through the forests.
