Ziling Lake is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national wetland park.

Ziling Lake is located five kilometers upstream from Jingpo Lake, situated between the Diaoshuilou Waterfall and the Volcanic Crater Underground Forest. With a water surface area of 530,000 square meters, it is the largest well-preserved volcanic rock wetland lake in China. Its hard slate strata and the surrounding Cuiping Mountain are features not found in other wetlands. The ecological environment of Ziling Lake is uniquely advantageous, integrating mountains, water, forests, grasslands, flowers, and islands. It attracts flocks of wild ducks, egrets, little egrets, crows, warblers, cuckoos, pheasants, quails, sparrows, and more—some soaring in the sky, others playing in the lake—creating a serene and harmonious scene. It is a fairyland-like resort that captivates with its water and enchanting islands. The lake’s relatively low water temperature is especially suitable for the growth of cold-water fish such as rainbow trout. The fish here generally have a longer growth cycle compared to those in other lakes, resulting in particularly tender and delicious meat.

Located between the Jingpo Lake Waterfall and the volcanic crater, it is the largest well-preserved alpine wetland in China. Covering an area of about 2 million square meters, with a water surface of 600,000 square meters, it is a scenic destination that excels with its water and charming islands. Looking around, the uniquely beautiful Ziling Lake is interwoven with trees in diverse forms, with dozens of small islands lying mysteriously on the lake surface, like a dreamlike scene. The crystal-clear lake water allows you to count the fish, while lotus flowers dot the lake, exuding a subtle fragrance. Between the blue sky, white clouds, lush surroundings, and azure waters, eagles and wild ducks spread their wings in serene harmony; the sounds of birds and chirping never cease, echoing through the skies. Here, you can fully enjoy boating on the lake, playing in the water, and fishing with a rod.
