The Site of the Sanchakou Underground Transportation Hub is a cultural tourism attraction.

According to Liu Yiquan, former bodyguard of Zhou Baozhong, the Sanchakou Underground Transportation Hub was located about two to three hundred meters inside the right-side alley to the right of the southern bridgehead in Sanchakou Town. Anti-Japanese generals such as Zhou Baozhong and Yang Song had operated here. After arriving in Sanchakou, Zhou Baozhong quickly made contact with Tang Shun, the liaison for the Dongning underground party organization. At that time, the Dongning underground party organization’s liaison point was the county town’s Sanchakou Library, whose director, Xie Zuochen, was also an underground party member. Therefore, the venue for this Party and Youth League congress was set here. At the meeting, Zhou Baozhong addressed four key issues: First, the current situation. Japanese imperialism is drawing closer to the heartland of the Chinese people step by step. The Nationalist government not only fails to resist but is also suppressing the people’s anti-Japanese movement. Aside from surrendering, they are utterly incapable of organizing any resistance. This sacred mission can only be taken up by us, the people ourselves—we must immediately expand our anti-Japanese organizations, unite all anti-Japanese sectors, and act decisively. Second, our underground Party and Youth League organizations should be active while maintaining strict organization and iron discipline. Third, the Anti-Japanese Salvation Army may retreat toward Mishan and Hulin areas; Li Shuping and Guo Ziyang will remain behind to expand anti-Japanese efforts in enemy-occupied territories. Fourth, we must establish an underground network in the Laoheishan Coal Mine of Dongning County.

After arriving in Dongning, Yang Song was introduced to the Sanchakou Underground Transportation Hub by underground party member Bi Shao Tang. Disguised as a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, Yang Song carried out Party activities, operating between the Soviet Union and Mudanjiang.
