Qingding Mountain Tourist Area

The Qingding Mountain Tourist Area is located in Qingding Village, Xinli Town, 16 kilometers from downtown Yushu. Its highest peak stands at an elevation of 239.5 meters, and the total area is about 570 hectares. The mountain is covered with dense forests, including 20 tree species such as pine, oak, birch, and maple, as well as a variety of wild animals such as pheasants and squirrels. There is also a cliff-carved Buddhist forest within the mountain, along with three fish ponds. At the summit, there is a watchtower and an anti-hail artillery platform. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Qingding Mountain by climbing the watchtower or taking a 5-kilometer scenic drive around the mountain.

Xinli Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Yushu City. Established as Xinli Township in 1956, it was reorganized as a commune in 1958, restored as a township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1984. Located in the southern part of the city, it is 22 kilometers from the municipal government, covers an area of 112 square kilometers, and has a population of 31,000. The town government is based in Xinlitun. The Yushu–Shanhe Highway passes through the town. It administers nine village committees: Xinli, Shuangyu, Taihe, Paoyan, Kangjia, Yongle, Qianwei, Zhuoshu, and Sangang, as well as seven neighborhood committees: Xicheng, Xinchang, Gongnong, Xinfa, Xiadian, Jiewei, and Houshan.
