The eastern and western walls of the ancient city were built along the terrain, slightly curved. The overall layout is an irregular rectangle. The eastern wall is 105 meters long, the western wall is 840 meters long, the northern and southern walls are each 630 meters long, and the perimeter is 3,150 meters. The current remaining height of the northern wall is 3–4 meters, with the base width of 5–7 meters. The city walls are built from rammed earth in yellowish-brown color. A moat surrounds the city, currently about 10 meters wide and 2–3 meters deep. The city had four gates—east, west, south, and north—each currently ranging from 15 to 20 meters in width.
