The Changchun Confucius Temple was first built in the 11th year of the Tongzhi reign (1872). It includes a three-bay Dacheng Hall, a three-bay Chongsheng Hall, three-bay side halls on the east and west sides, as well as a three-bay Dacheng Gate. The front courtyard has three-bay changing rooms on the east and west. In the 20th year of the Guangxu reign (1894), the Wenchang Pavilion was also constructed, which is a two-story structure. In 1924, further repairs and expansions were made to the Confucius Temple to complete its development. The main buildings within the temple include the Dacheng Hall, Chongsheng Hall, Dacheng Gate, side halls, and more. The site covers an area of approximately 10,000 square meters, formed through the gradual construction and aggregation by multiple individuals.
