The Main Building of Jilin Agricultural University is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Jilin.

Founded in 1948, Jilin Agricultural University is a key provincial university in Jilin Province and one of the first higher education institutions in China authorized to confer bachelor's and master's degrees. In 1993, it became the first institution under the provincial government to be granted the right to confer doctoral degrees. In 2011, it became a jointly developed university by the Jilin Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture, and was awarded the title of "National Model University for Graduate Employment" by the Ministry of Education. The university boasts excellent educational facilities, a strong faculty, and a uniquely charming campus, making it an ideal place for learning and talent cultivation.

With a long history and profound cultural foundation, the university serves as an irreplaceable cradle for talent development and a key base for scientific and technological innovation in Jilin Province’s agricultural and rural development.
