Lianhuashan Shihu Gully Daqing Temple is located within Jilin Guanma National Forest Park. In December 1932, Yang Jingyu, then alternate member of the Manchuria Provincial Committee and acting secretary of the military commission, presided over a rectification meeting for the 32nd Army of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army’s South Manchuria Guerrilla Unit at a temple in Shihu Gully on behalf of the provincial committee. The meeting aimed to purge the unit of certain undesirable elements and individuals closely associated with “Chang Zhan,” thereby purifying the ranks. Shortly afterward, Yang Jingyu also presided over the Third Expanded Meeting of the Panshi County Central Committee, where he emphasized the need to establish a solid guerrilla base in Panshi, develop anti-Japanese armed forces, adhere to the correct direction of the anti-Japanese guerrilla war, reorganize the Panshi County Central Committee, and elect Park Won-chan as the new secretary. Through the rectification of the Party and the army in Shihu Gully, both the work of the Party in Panshi and the armed struggle of the guerrilla unit were significantly strengthened and expanded.
