The Site of Party and Army Rectification at Daqing Temple in Shihuigou, Lianhua Mountain

Daqing Temple in Shihuigou, Lianhua Mountain, is located within the Guanma National Forest Park in Jilin. In December 1932, Yang Jingyu, then Alternate Member of the Provisional Committee of the Manchurian Provincial Committee and Acting Secretary of the Military Commission, presided over a meeting at a temple in Shihuigou on behalf of the Provincial Committee. This was a rectification meeting for the guerrilla forces of the 32nd Army of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army in South Manchuria. The aim was to eliminate undesirable elements within the ranks and those closely associated with "Chang Zhan," thereby purifying the composition of the troops. Immediately afterward, Yang Jingyu also presided over the Third Expanded Meeting of the Panshi County Central Committee, emphasizing the need to establish and consolidate the Panshi guerrilla base area, develop anti-Japanese armed forces, and adhere to the correct direction of persistent anti-Japanese guerrilla warfare. The Panshi County Central Committee was reorganized, and Park Won-chan was elected as secretary. Through the party and army rectification efforts in Shihuigou, both the work of the Panshi Party and the armed struggle of the guerrilla forces were significantly strengthened and expanded.
