The Songhua River Clear Water Greenbelt Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the urban area of Jilin City and is built along the 57-kilometer urban river section of the Songhua River flood control project. The scenic area has been planned to high standards and coordinated with urban planning, highlighting ethnic characteristics while placing special emphasis on ecology and environmental protection. While ensuring the flood safety of the Songhua River, it creates an elegant and distinctive urban waterfront belt. Built along the 57-kilometer urban river section of the Songhua River flood control project, the scenic area is a type of urban river-lake water conservancy scenic area and serves as a public-benefit destination. It has now been developed into an ecological landscape corridor integrating flood control, pollution treatment, ecology, culture, and tourism. The scenic area encompasses the Clear Water Greenbelt, embankments, water surfaces, and shoals, and currently features nineteen premium attractions such as Riverside Park, Sails Square, National Defense Park, Riverside Garden, and Sunshine Bathing Beach. The water quality in this river section is classified as Class II, with a high degree of ecosystem integrity and well-preserved aquatic ecological environment.
