Jiangcheng Forest Botanical Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Jiangcheng Forest Botanical Garden in Jilin Province is located at the 246-kilometer mark of National Highway 303 (Siping–Baishan) within Dongfeng County. It lies 12 kilometers west of Dongfeng County and 9 kilometers east of Meihekou City. With convenient transportation, it is a comprehensive botanical garden offering tourism, vacationing, dining, entertainment, and leisure. Entering through the garden’s imitation ancient-style gate, visitors are greeted by picturesque natural scenery. The area features lush mountains, clear waters, blooming flowers, green lawns, pavilions, and winding secluded paths. Spanning 3.6 square kilometers of forested land and water surfaces, the garden includes an 8-hectare water park with boats and motorboats. Three kilometers of pathways wind through the woods, along with over ten suspended bridges, rainbow bridges, and covered bridges. The hills are home to secondary forests and over 100,000 trees of various planted species. The garden houses Asia’s largest sika deer breeding and farming base, renowned worldwide for its high-quality deer products, which make excellent tonic nourishment. The forest is also inhabited by a variety of wild animals, including pheasants, foxes, squirrels, badgers, grey cranes, and wildcats. Nearly a thousand types of medicinal herbs, wild vegetables, and edible fungi grow in the mountains. The lake is teeming with over 30 species of wild fish such as grass carp, crucian carp, catfish, Wuchang bream, eel, and stickleback, making it a prime spot for fishing. Jiangcheng Forest Botanical Garden attracts numerous visitors from both within and outside the county with its unique natural landscapes.
