The Wafangdingzi Mountain Stone Coffin Tomb Cluster is a relatively large group of stone cist tombs discovered within Dongfeng County. It is located on Wafangdingzi Mountain, approximately 2.5 kilometers northeast of Woniu Village in Dayang Town. About 300 meters to its southwest lies the Shanzhujuangou site from the Bronze Age, and to its west is a reservoir. This area features continuous mountain ranges and crisscrossing valleys, with Wafangdingzi Mountain being one of the higher ridges in the vicinity. The tombs are built along the undulating ridgeline, extending roughly a thousand meters from the southwest, following the terrain. A total of 15 tombs have been discovered. The structure of the tombs can be basically divided into two types. The tomb cluster generally dates back to the Bronze Age.

Dayang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dongfeng County. Established as a district in 1949, upgraded to a township in 1956, reorganized as a commune in 1958, reinstated as a township in 1983, and became a town in 1984. Located in the southern part of the county, it covers an area of 174 square kilometers with a population of 20,000. The town government is stationed in Dayang Street. The Dong (feng)–Shan (chengzhen) Highway passes through the area. It administers 13 village committees: Dayang, Sanli, Baoshan, Jinniu, Liujiazi, Fuhé, Hongqi, Jiti, Changle, Desheng, Tuanshan, Woniu, and Anle.
