Shenyang Guanyin Temple

Shenyang Guanyin Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

The current Guanyin Temple is divided into two main parts: the Hall of Heavenly Kings and the Mahavira Hall seen upon entering through the main gate were built later. The original site of Guanyin Temple lies behind the Mahavira Hall.

As you enter through the main gate, you’ll find the Hall of Heavenly Kings — the temple’s entrance is only a few meters away from it, and right behind the Hall of Heavenly Kings is the Mahavira Hall.

The temple is lush with greenery, featuring fruit-bearing trees such as apricot and walnut trees. The grassy areas around the Mahavira Hall are planted with a large amount of clover, which is rare to see in other temples. It’s said that one in every 100,000 clover plants mutates into a four-leaf clover.

Guanyin Temple is not open every day, but only on the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month or during Buddhist ceremony days.
