Introduction Shenyang West Lake is located 40 kilometers from downtown Shenyang, in Dangbu Town, Xinmin City. It boasts tens of thousands of acres of water surface, with crystal-clear emerald-green water that looks like a huge piece of jade, allowing you to see fish swimming happily beneath the surface. In summer, sitting in the pavilion on the winding bridge, you’ll find the lake surrounded by pale pink lotus flowers, while a gentle breeze brings waves of fragrance. The lotuses sway lightly in the wind, like graceful maidens dancing, making you feel as if you’ve been transported to the water towns of southern China. Since 1992, the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government has thoroughly developed and constructed West Lake, building facilities such as a lakeside restaurant, amusement hall, fishing platform, boat dock, West Lake Amusement Park, and reed maze, along with a detailed plan for the West Lake tourist resort. Every summer and autumn, visitors flock here from all over to enjoy the enchanting scenery of this “West Lake beyond the Great Wall.”

Features Little West Lake is known as the “Jiangnan of Shenyang,” with tens of thousands of acres of water merging seamlessly with the sky. The vast lake surface is dotted with lotus blossoms and sweeping reeds, offering breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Hence the poetic line: “A unique sight between heaven and earth, West Lake’s lotus blooms outshine all.”

Transportation 1. Shenyang bus service: Departures start at 4:30 AM until 12:50 PM, every 10 minutes; in the afternoon from 1:50 PM to 5:20 PM, every 15 minutes. 2. Shenyang Midline: Departures from 4:20 AM to 3:55 PM, every 20 minutes.
