With stained-glass windows and vermilion-painted doors, the hall enshrines the Great God of Wealth. The Great God of Wealth, who transcends the mundane, thrice amassed and thrice distributed his fortune as a loyal minister of the King of Yue. The King of Yue, a man of prosperity, held in his hands a magic treasure basin. The magic treasure basin, renowned throughout the world, brings a ceaseless flow of wealth to all realms... A folk ballad voices the common people’s aspiration—to seek wealth and pray for blessings, a timeless human pursuit.

In the golden autumn, on the propitious date of the 15th of the eighth lunar month, such a magnificent and imposing Palace of Wealth was constructed in Dagujiazi Town, Faku County, Shenyang.

Passing the rural-urban highway and rounding a bend, the view suddenly opens up—a stretch of blue water encircling a mountain range, offering an unobstructed visual feast. In the distance, atop a flat highland, a cluster of greenery frames a grand expanse of golden, soaring upturned eaves. That is the Northeast Asia God of Wealth Culture Expo Park—Faku’s Palace of Wealth.

Located 70 kilometers from Shenyang and 15 kilometers from Faku City, on the western shore of Caihu Lake and atop Caishan Mountain, the Faku Palace of Wealth was planned by the Daoism and Taoist Studies division of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It covers a total construction area of 6,100 square meters. The complex includes the Mountain Gate Hall, the Hall of Wealth God Messengers, the Hall of the God of Wealth, the Hall of the Three Pure Ones, and six auxiliary halls, along with a Bell Tower and Drum Tower on the east and west sides, plus the Qiyun Pavilion and Zhuan Yun Pavilion. The Palace of Wealth is the largest Taoist temple structure in China dedicated primarily to the worship of the God of Wealth. It serves as the flagship attraction of the Caihu Scenic Area, promoting the concept of "Acquiring wealth through virtue, entering the palace to cultivate morality, following the Way of Nature, and achieving harmony between heaven and humanity."

The Faku Palace of Wealth enjoys convenient transportation and beautiful natural surroundings. The ancient and majestic temple structures complement the landscape, merging seamlessly with it. Blessed with auspicious clouds hovering overhead and lush pines and cypresses, the site exudes the aura of an immortal’s paradise—truly a feng shui treasure.

Under clear skies and warm sunshine, with auspicious clouds drifting by, the heavens miraculously display colorful formations, prompting fervent cheers from devout worshippers. The consecration ceremony is a grand and traditional Taoist rite, presided over by the most virtuous Taoist master. Dressed in ritual vestments and holding a ceremonial tablet, he silently recites divine incantations while pacing the ritual grid in sacred steps. Meanwhile, bells, drums, and cymbals resound in unison, creating an ethereal symphony of celestial music that lingers in the air. Devotees kneel devoutly on prayer benches on both sides of the hall, pressing their palms together in reverence, chanting along with the Taoists—bowing their heads at times, falling silent at others, bowing in salute or offering prayers. Their expressions are solemn and devout; in their hearts, they must be filled with the deepest hopes for the people and matters they hold most dear.
