Hunhe Amusement Park

Hunhe Amusement Park is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Located in the southern part of Shenyang city, bordered by Gongnong Bridge to the west and the Hunhe River to the south, Hunhe Amusement Park covers an area of 300,000 square meters. It is a large-scale recreational complex integrating dining, entertainment, tourism, and sports.

Upon entering the park, the first sight is the glistening waters of the Hunhe River, with emerald mountain grapes decorating the riverbanks, creating a verdant corridor. Five hundred lanterns are lined up in a row, resembling a long dragon, while 1,000 fountains along the shore shoot water sprays up to four meters high, creating a spectacular scene. Dozens of pleasure boats gently bob on the water near the boating dock.

Once you disembark, you’ll find yourself on the riverside path known by visitors as the “World Road,” where national flags from around the globe flutter in the breeze. To the north of the riverside road lies the 100,000-square-meter Ethnic Village. Centered around the large performance ground in front of the Dai ethnic group’s Manfeilong Pagoda, it is surrounded by nine ethnic villages—Dai, Miao, Dong, Yi, Jingpo, Bai, Mongolian, and Korean. Performers from these nine ethnic groups, totaling 120 members, use their traditional architecture as a backdrop to showcase ethnic songs, dances, costumes, and daily customs.

Here you can see the mysterious Manfeilong Pagoda and incense-filled Dai temples, as well as the bamboo houses of Xishuangbanna. Beautiful Dai girls will invite you to join the lively Water-Splashing Festival. In the Miao hillside village shaded by green bamboo, enthusiastic Miao girls will pour you a full cup of sweet rice wine and invite you to dance to the joyful sounds of the lusheng. At night, the vibrant Torch Festival will transport you to the distant Liangshan Mountains, the homeland of the Yi people.

Hunhe Amusement Park also features a large outdoor swimming pool, a golf driving range, a forest bathing area, and an amusement park. Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the amusement park has fifteen uniquely styled adventure bridges spanning an artificial Y-shaped river. On both sides of the river, large dreamlike combination play equipment, swings, seesaws, and slides provide a fun zone for children.
