The Shagutun Stone Pagoda from the Jin Dynasty is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Shagutun Stone Pagoda from the Jin Dynasty is located atop Shilong Mountain in Shagutun Village, Shagutun Township, Nanpiao District, Huludao. It was built in the 6th year of the Taihe era of the Jin Dynasty (1206). The pagoda is constructed from stone in a hexagonal five-tiered form, standing 4.69 meters tall. It was assembled from ten carved stone blocks and placed on a large sedimentary rock, which bears the inscription “the 6th year of Li Qinhe, seventh month.” The base of the pagoda is in the style of a Sumeru pedestal, with each recessed waist section carved with a door, inside which is a uniquely styled beast. The lower part of the pagoda body is carved with a lotus base, and each face features a pointed arch niche in the center, housing a seated Buddha atop a lotus. The niches are adorned with decorative patterns and finials. Each corner is fitted with a round pillar. The upper part of the pagoda body is formed by five carved sections representing the eaves, with the topmost tier being a hexagonal spire crowned with a precious bead finial.

It administers 11 administrative villages and 33 natural settlements, with a population of 13,240. The total area of the jurisdiction is 1,143.3 hectares, including 1,045.4 hectares of land area (468.9 hectares of forest, 271.7 hectares of arable land, 3.3 hectares of difficult-to-use land, 17.12 hectares of pastureland, with a forest coverage rate of 10%) and 97.9 hectares of water bodies.
