Huli Scenic Area is located in the western part of Dongyingfang Township, Benxi County, at the uppermost reaches of the Taizi River, 40 kilometers from Benxi Water Cave and adjacent to the Benhuan Highway. There are regular buses from both Benxi City and Benxi County directly to Huli, making transportation very convenient. It is also 8 kilometers from Dashihu in Nanyingfang. In 2001, Huli Scenic Area was designated as a municipal-level tourist spot by the Benxi Municipal Government and is currently applying for provincial-level tourist resort status.

Huli Scenic Area features real landscapes of mountains, water, rocks, and trees, with 28 scenic spots throughout the area. It combines natural and cultural attractions, presenting vivid and realistic scenery that holds tourism value all year round. In spring, azaleas blanket the hills, dotting the green waters and mountains—rivaling the beauty of Guilin. In summer, the vibrant green of the mountains and murmuring streams create a fairyland-like atmosphere. Autumn brings red maples that adorn the colorful peaks, surpassing the golden hues of the Great Wall in fall. In winter, the snow-blanketed landscape, accompanied by the rustling of forest waves, resembles the ebb and flow of tides.

　Currently, there are 25 family-style tourism reception groups in Huli Scenic Area, offering dining, entertainment, and accommodation all in one. Each season features different farmhouse-style cuisines. The locals are simple, hardworking, and hospitable. Visiting Huli feels as warm as being at home. Dongyingfang Township: Located in the eastern mountainous region of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Dongyingfang Township was once a military camp during Emperor Xue Rengui’s eastern campaign against Goguryeo in the Tang Dynasty.
