Benxi National Forest Park is a national-level forest park.

Benxi National Forest Park is located in the Manchu Autonomous County of Benxi and consists of three parts: Tieshajian Mountain, Guanmen Mountain, and Caohegou Hot Springs. Tieshajian Mountain, an extension of the Changbai Mountain range, spans over 10 square kilometers and features numerous ancient temples, cliff carvings, historical sites, and caves. Guanmen Mountain boasts steep and majestic terrain, with the Yang River flowing through the valley and waterfalls cascading through the gates. The valley is shrouded in mist, and the peaks appear and disappear in the fog. The area is covered with dense vegetation and a rich variety of tree species. In June each year, the rare Tiannu magnolia flowers bloom all over the mountains, filling the valley with intoxicating fragrance. The deep autumn foliage of Guanmen Mountain and the winter pines on the cliffs are also especially spectacular. Tanggou Hot Springs covers a geothermal area of more than 20 acres, with water temperatures reaching up to 76°C. The water contains various minerals such as manganese carbonate and sodium carbonate, along with trace elements beneficial to human health, and is referred to as the “Treasure Spring.” Spring, summer, and autumn are the golden seasons for visiting Benxi Forest Park.
