Jiulong Mountain City. The site is located on a terrace of Jiulong Mountain in Huangbao Village, northeast of Jianchang Town. In 1633 (the sixth year of the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty and the seventh year of the Tiancong era of the Later Jin), it was built under the supervision of Dudu Jianle, grandson of Nurhaci, and was named “Jianchang New City.” Since it was built on Jiulong Mountain, it is also called “Jiulong Mountain City.” The city is an earthen fortification in a triangular shape, with a perimeter of 316.66 meters, a base width of 7 meters, a top width of 6 meters, and walls 5 meters high. There is a barbican in the western part of the city, equipped with a gate.

Protected area: within the city and within 100 meters outside the outer base of the city wall.

Construction control zone: Zone I extends 20 meters outside the protected area, and Zone II extends 30 meters outside Zone I.

Jianchang Town: Located in the eastern part of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Jianchang Town is a transportation hub leading to Huanren, Kuandian, Fengcheng, and Xinbin. It is a historic market town in eastern Liaoning known for its trade. The town governs nine administrative villages and one subdistrict office, covering a total area of 170 square kilometers, including 25,128 mu of arable land (1.2 mu per capita) and 101,218 mu of forest land (5 mu per capita).
