Yiwulu Mountain National Forest Park Scenic Area is a national-level forest park.

Liaoning Yiwulu Mountain National Nature Reserve is a forest ecosystem and wildlife nature reserve, established in 1981 with a total area of 11,459 hectares. It is renowned both domestically and internationally for its majestic mountains, unique peaks, lush pine and cypress forests, and beautiful scenery. Over the 28 years since its establishment, while protecting natural resources, the natural environment, and natural complexes, it has also laid a solid foundation for forest eco-tourism. The reserve currently features four major scenic areas for visitors to explore: Yiwulu Mountain (National Forest Park), Laoyeling (Shengqing Palace) Scenic Area, Baolin Tower, and Dashihu Scenic Area. Each of these four scenic areas offers distinct and fascinating landscapes.

The national forest park scenic area is located in the central foothills of Yiwulu Mountain and represents the essence of both the natural and cultural landscapes within the entire Yiwulu Mountain Nature Reserve, covering a touring area of 888 hectares. Here, you can find a rich collection of natural attractions such as mountains, waters, peaks, rocks, celestial phenomena, flora and fauna, as well as cultural elements including temples, pavilions, and cliff inscriptions. For busy modern individuals, it offers an ideal leisure destination to temporarily escape the secular world and return to simplicity.

The national forest park scenic area is dominated by natural Korean pine and mixed coniferous-broadleaf forests, featuring undulating peaks, waves of pine forests, and ever-changing scenery. Today, Dayangchang in Yiwulu Mountain has been elevated to the status of a national forest park.

The Dayangchang Scenic Area boasts lush vegetation and scenic beauty in all four seasons: after spring rains, it's perfect for outings with the fragrance of pear blossoms in the air; in summer, flowers bloom everywhere, resembling a vast flower garden; autumn brings clear skies and colorful forests; and in winter, the snow-covered plains present a pristine northern landscape.
