Mount Yiwulu — Dalu Hua Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Dalu Hua Scenic Area is located in Taoyuan Village, Baoxiang Township, in the central-southern part of Mount Yiwulu in Beizhen City. Situated along the Yiwulu Mountain Scenic Loop Road, it lies 8 kilometers south of Qingyan Temple Scenic Area and 20 kilometers north of Da Guanyin Pavilion Scenic Area. It is renowned worldwide for its steep mountain terrain and towering, craggy peaks.

The main peak of Dalu Hua rises 630.1 meters above sea level, with the entire mountain resembling a massive spiritual stone thrusting straight into the sky, exuding a majestic presence. Over two hundred million years ago, the Dalu Hua Scenic Area was once an endless ocean. Due to tectonic movements that uplifted the Asian plate, it has now become a land reclaimed from the sea, leaving behind vast fields of reeds — hence the name "Dalu Hua" (Big Reed Flower).

With a long history and picturesque scenery, Dalu Hua Scenic Area features a rich tapestry of natural and cultural landscapes that blend harmoniously. Notable temples include Yunyan Temple, Yuantong Treasure Hall, Zhuanyun Temple, Temple of the God of Wealth, Medicine Buddha Temple, and Child-Giving Guanyin Hall, spanning five dynasties — Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing — bearing witness to human development and civilization in the Dalu Hua region. The lower courtyard’s Yuantong Treasure Hall houses the bronze gilded statue of the Thousand-Handed, Thousand-Eyed Guanyin, the largest Buddhist statue on Mount Yiwulu. With a thousand hands to protect all beings and a thousand eyes to observe the world, the statue embodies great compassion and mercy, delivering relief from suffering. Devotees flock here to worship, and the incense offerings are extraordinarily abundant.

The scenic area is also home to famous natural landmarks such as the Yiwulu Grand Canyon, Qiding Pingding Mountain, and the Three Stars Conversing Stone. Dalu Hua Scenic Area combines the grandeur of northern sacred mountains with the delicate beauty of southern peaks. In spring, trees turn emerald green and lush; in midsummer, shaded paths and murmuring streams provide cool respite; in late autumn, forests blaze with color; and in deep winter, the landscape is draped in silvery white, pristine as jade. It is an ideal destination for sightseeing, exploring ancient sites, and seeking spiritual solace. The breathtaking scenery here captivates visitors, leaving them relaxed and reluctant to leave.
