The Beizhen Dayachao Hot Spring Mountain Town Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Dayachao Hot Spring Resort is situated 6.5 kilometers west of Beizhen City, a historical and cultural city in Liaoning Province, adjacent to the Yiwulvshan National Nature Reserve, and only 98 kilometers from downtown Jinzhou. Developed with an investment of nearly 200 million yuan by Liaoning Jinshi Group Co., Ltd., this national AAAA-level scenic area covers nearly 3,000 acres, with a total construction area of 12,779 square meters. It also serves as an open-air corridor-style folk museum, housing over 3,600 pieces of antique folk artifacts.

The development of the Dayachao Hot Spring Resort has transformed the desolate landscape of the area that had remained largely untouched for nearly a century, restoring its historic charm while providing consumers with a uniquely styled destination for tourism, dining, vacationing, leisure, and wellness.

Established in 2005, the Dayachao Hot Spring Resort has since evolved into a national AAAA-level scenic area integrating ecology, red tourism sightseeing, catering and accommodation, conference hosting, hot spring bathing, Zen meditation and wellness, and leisure vacationing. With nearly 200,000 visitors annually, it has become a shining tourism landmark of the ancient city of Beizhen.

Nestled against mountains and beside water, the Dayachao Hot Spring Resort leverages the “largest in Northeast Asia” ten-thousand-acre black pine forest to cultivate its distinctive regional and humanistic culture.

The Dayachao Mountain Town Hotel offers luxury suites, standard rooms, standalone villas, chess and card rooms, tea art rooms, and multi-functional meeting rooms, accommodating up to 500 guests for lodging and meetings, and 300 for dining.

The Dayachao Ancient Buddha Temple was originally built during the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Liao Dynasty, expanded during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, and features a cliffside statue of the Maitreya Buddha over 40 meters tall on the Maitreya Peak rock face, revered as the “First Tathagata” of Yiwulvshan. The limestone Buddha enshrined in the Guanyin Cave, dating back over 800 years, is one of the best-preserved and most ancient Buddha statues in Liaoning Province.

The Dayachao Mountain Town is a corridor-style museum. Officially established in June 2010 as the “Beizhen Yiwulvshan Folk Museum” approved by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Culture, it houses nearly 10,000 folk relics open to the public for appreciation. The scenic area boasts profound cultural heritage and serves as a creative base for the Liaoning Provincial Prose Society, a creative guidance base for the Liaoning Photographers Association, and the Beizhen Yiwulvshan Outdoor Sports Association. The Dayachao Mountain Town enjoys exceptionally high concentrations of negative oxygen ions, averaging 40,000 per cubic centimeter—over 40 times the WHO standard for fresh air. According to surveys by experts from the Liaoning Meteorological Bureau, some spots even reach 3.04 million per cubic centimeter. As a result, many visitors drive hundreds of miles to stay for months at a time in the Dayachao Mountain Town, breathing in the oxygen-rich air for health and wellness.
