SIA expands membership benefits   Mileage can also be accrued on Scoot and Tigerair Singapore

Singapore Airlines has announced that its rewards program KrisFlyer will expand its membership benefits. Starting today, KrisFlyer members can accrue flight miles when flying on Scoot and Tigerair Singapore.

Both Scoot and Tigerair Singapore are low-cost carriers under the SIA Group. Starting today, KrisFlyer members can earn and accrue miles when purchasing PlusPerks packages on Scoot or FlexiCombo fares on Tigerair Singapore. From this year onward, KrisFlyer members can also choose to redeem their accrued KrisFlyer miles for discounts on Scoot or Tigerair Singapore, or use them to purchase selected products offered by the two budget airlines.

Scoot’s newly launched PlusPerks package includes benefits such as KrisFlyer mile accrual, priority check-in and boarding, pre-selection of designated seats, and flexible ticketing. Tigerair Singapore’s FlexiCombo offers benefits such as more spacious pre-selected seats, priority check-in and expedited boarding, as well as the option to change the flight date or passenger name once without a fee.
