Jetstar Japan Targets Taiwanese Travelers with Fares Starting at NT$270 One-Way to Tokyo, Osaka & Nagoya

Jetstar Japan, a subsidiary of Jetstar Airways, is entering the Taiwanese market to compete in the budget airline sector for travelers flying to Japan.The low-cost carrier Jetstar Japan recently announced it will launch three new routes from Taipei (Taoyuan) to Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, with services starting on November 28,and tickets going on sale from 10:00 JST on the official website (http://www.jetstar.com./ ) with a special 3-day promotional fare offering one-way untaxed prices starting from 990 Japanese Yen (approx. NT$270).
Jetstar Japan stated that the Taipei–Tokyo (Narita) route will begin operations on November 28, initially operating three flights per week, with plans to increase to daily flights. The flight schedule is a red-eye service departing early in the morning and returning in the evening.

The Taipei–Osaka (Kansai) and Taipei–Nagoya routes will start on December 12, also initially operating three flights per week, with plans to increase to daily flights.

All three routes are now available for purchase on the Jetstar website,with the lowest one-way inclusive fare for Taipei–Tokyo and Taipei–Nagoya starting from NT$2,798 per person, and for Taipei–Osaka (Kansai) from NT$3,198 per person. These fares are valid from the launch date of each route until March 26, 2016..
Additionally, to celebrate the launch of Jetstar Japan’s Taiwan–Japan routes, a special three-day promotional fare is also available, with one-way untaxed prices starting from 990 Japanese Yen (approx. NT$270), from now until 17:00 JST on October 15.
