With only 80 days left until the end of 2015, the highly anticipated Taipei 101 fireworks show has announced its duration — a total of 238 seconds, with over 30,000 fireworks expected to be launched. This will be the longest fireworks show in Taipei 101’s history.
This year’s Taipei 101 New Year's Eve fireworks show is themed “Nature is Future.” Taipei 101 stated that the theme was chosen to raise awareness about environmental protection and express respect for nature, combining the fireworks show with the topic of environmental sustainability. This way, the fireworks are not just a celebration, but also a means to draw more attention to public issues.
