Dubai to Build $8 Billion Luxury Hotel with Mid-Building Artificial Beach and Rainforest

Dubai has recently launched an apartment-style hotel project worth NT$9 billion, featuring an artificial beach and rainforest, and is scheduled to open in 2018.According to the Arabian Business website,this project is the first hotel under Hilton's "Curio Collection" brand in the United Arab Emirates. The Dubai Curio Collection property, named Rosemont Hotel & Residences, covers approximately 13,000 square meters and consists of two 47-story towers.

This mixed-use apartment hotel will have 450 rooms, as well as a rooftop lobby, swimming pool, fitness club, dining area, business center, and VIP lounge. The plan also includes a platform about five stories high, which will house an artificial beach and a rainforest-style garden.

"We see great potential in the Middle Eastern market and hope that the Curio brand will attract travelers from around the world," said Rudi Jagersbacher, Director of Development for Hilton Africa & the Middle East.
