Spend your weekend taking the high-speed rail to Taoyuan for fun. The Qingtang Garden Visitor Center, located in the Taoyuan High-Speed Rail Special Zone, has officially opened. With an investment of tens of millions, the visitor center adopts the architectural concept of "blending into nature." In addition to large glass curtain walls and open-air viewing platforms that allow visitors to enjoy the green ecology of Qingtang Garden even indoors, the outdoor area features multiple stone-paved boardwalks connecting the pond landscapes and the twin-tower cable-stayed bridge of Qingtang Garden. In the future, the first floor will host art and cultural activities such as exhibitions and hands-on workshops, while the first and second floors will accommodate dining establishments, creating a diverse and distinctive tourism and leisure destination.

Originally an irrigation pond for agricultural use, "Qingtang Garden" served a flood regulation function. After planning, it has been transformed into a water-friendly space for urban residents. It offers a variety of recreational areas such as gentle water-access slopes, viewing platforms, wooden boardwalks, pedestrian pathways, and an outdoor theater—truly an urban oasis. At "Qingtang Garden," you can see emerald-green ponds teeming with aquatic plants and rich biodiversity, along with stunningly beautiful lotus ponds, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll.
