China Airlines' new 777-300ER aircraft service  Flights to Frankfurt in November

Starting in November, China Airlines will operate its Taipei-Frankfurt route with the new 777-300ER aircraft. This marks the first time the airline deploys this next-generation passenger plane on a European route, following its use on long-haul services to the U.S., such as Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. The 777-300ER features a cabin design that blends Eastern aesthetics with modern technology, offering passengers traveling to and from Frankfurt a fresh in-flight experience and enhancing business, cultural, and tourism exchanges between Taiwan and Europe.

In June, China Airlines' next-generation 777-300ER aircraft made its first European appearance at the invitation of Boeing at the "Paris International Air Show." Now, passengers traveling to Europe can fly on China Airlines’ 777 aircraft and personally experience the innovative design of this new generation. The 777 aircraft has three classes: 40 seats in Premium Business Class, 62 in Premium Economy Class, and 256 in Economy Class, which includes family sleeper cabins, accommodating a total of 358 passengers. The flight from Taipei to Frankfurt, Germany, takes approximately 14 hours.

China Airlines’ European destinations include Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Vienna, and Rome. The airline also codeshares with SkyTeam Alliance members such as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, ITA Airways, and Czech Airlines, extending its network to cities like Prague, London, and Manchester, forming an extensive route map. Starting from the third quarter of next year, China Airlines’ 14 newly ordered A350-900 aircraft will be delivered progressively and will be deployed on long-haul European routes such as Amsterdam and Vienna.
