Fly with Kitty this winter season — EVA Air's Kitty-themed livery planes will take off on the Taipei–Osaka route starting December.

Travelers from Taiwan heading to Osaka can now also fly on a Kitty-themed aircraft in the future. EVA Air has announced that starting December 7, it will operate the Taipei (Taoyuan)–Osaka route using Kitty-themed planes, with daily flights available.

According to EVA Air, the Osaka flights operated with the themed "Kitty Joy Air" livery will use flight numbers BR177 and BR178, operating on the A330-200 aircraft model, offering a total of 252 seats — 24 in business class and 228 in economy class. In addition to the Kitty-themed exterior paint, the cabin interiors including seats, pillows, tableware, and headphones will all feature Kitty designs, allowing fans to enjoy adorable details throughout the flight.

Currently, EVA Air operates Kitty-themed aircraft on several Japanese routes including Tokyo (Haneda), Tokyo (Narita), Sapporo (New Chitose), and Fukuoka. However, starting December 6 and December 25, flights on the Taipei–Sapporo and Taipei–Tokyo (Narita) routes will no longer be operated using the Kitty-themed aircraft.
