If you want to take a cable car to Sentosa Island, there are two boarding points: one is at HarbourFront Centre Tower 2 next to HarbourFront MRT Station, and the other is on Mount Faber. It's recommended for those taking the MRT to HarbourFront that you can go directly from HarbourFront Centre for the outbound trip, and take the cable car to Mount Faber for the return journey, taking the chance to visit this “tallest” mountain in Singapore — or perhaps calling it a “hill” would be more fitting. But don’t underestimate its mere 117-metre height — it offers 360-degree open views that take in cityscapes, harbours, and island vistas. On clear, high-visibility days, you might even spot Malaysia and Indonesia in the distance.

There are also plenty of restaurants around the cable car station where you can dine while enjoying the scenery, and nearby a small park features a hidden gem for couples: the Bell Wall. Unlike other countries that hang padlocks of love, Singapore uses bells to represent love — perhaps signifying the wish for love to be joyful chimes rather than burdensome locks? I personally find this gesture even more romantic and heartwarming. Couples visiting here shouldn't miss out on joining the local tradition — buy a bell to convey your feelings.
