The terrorist attacks in France have shaken the world. On the 14th, major global landmarks including the Sydney Opera House in Australia and One World Trade Center in New York, USA, turned on the red, white, and blue lights symbolizing the French flag in a show of solidarity, expressing support and condolences.

One World Trade Center in New York, the tallest skyscraper in the United States, stands on the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The attack particularly resonated there, and on the evening of the 14th, the building was lit in red, white, and blue. In a statement, New York Governor Cuomo mentioned that they would stand firmly with France, just as France has stood with them.

Other countries and regions such as the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the CN Tower in Canada, the Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower in Shanghai, the Sky Tower in New Zealand, the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Wembley Stadium in London, UK, San Francisco City Hall in the United States, and the Independence Monument in Mexico City, Mexico, also shone in the French flag colors to express mourning.
