A Facebook fan page recently appeared for the well-known American burger brand “In-N-Out Taiwan,” announcing “Coming Soon” and teasing fans in Taiwan about its upcoming entry into the market. However, the authenticity of this news has yet to be verified. According to the official U.S. In-N-Out Burger fan page,“There are currently no plans to expand to Taiwan.”.

“In-N-Out” is a consistent top contender on various burger rankings, and currently has over 250 locations across the United States. Even acclaimed director Ang Lee is a fan — in March 2014, the brand came to Taiwan for a limited-time pop-up trial sale, offering 300 burgers that sold out almost instantly, demonstrating just how popular it is.

“In-N-Out” has always adhered to a principle of not expanding overseas. Currently, this Taiwanese fan page has not announced any further details, but the short “Coming Soon” statement has still sparked anticipation among fans.
