The Dreamliner is coming soon！　EVA Air to sign contract for 24 Boeing 787s next week

Taiwan’s first Dreamliner is finally on its way！ Previously, there were reports that EVA Air intended to purchase the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, which excited many people. On the 19th, EVA issued an invitation, announcing that it wouldhold a signing ceremony on the 24th, this time ordering 24 Boeing 787s and 2 Boeing 777-300ERs.

EVA Air has confirmed that it will purchase 24 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners and 2 Boeing 777-300 Extended Range aircraft from Boeing. The signing ceremony will take place on the 24th. According to the list price,the total purchase amount exceeds USD 8 billion, approximately NT$256 billion.

The Boeing 787-10 is a luxury model, emphasizing spacious interiorsand special lighting design to provide passengers with a comfortable and novel experience. It has a seating capacity of about 242 to 395 people. Additionally,the 777-300ER is the world’s largest twin-engine wide-body passenger aircraftwith a seating capacity of about 283 to 368 people. Both models are suitable for international routes. By 2020, EVA’s fleet size will exceed 100 aircraft, continuing to expand its operations.
