The name “ラ0?幞?X 梦を语れ” means “Speak Your Dreams.” The original branch is in Kyoto, with additional locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and even Boston, USA, making it quite well-known. The shop explains that their ramen belongs to the “Jiro-style” category, which originated in Tokyo and is characterized by large portions and extra-thick noodles. Vegetables, lard, and garlic can be added for free. Some describe Jiro-style ramen as “not just ramen, but a food category of its own,” highlighting its uniqueness in the world of ramen.

Made with an ultra-rich pork bone broth, the thick noodles at “ラ0?幞?X 梦を语れ” come in extremely generous portions—about three times the amount you’d get at Ippudo, the popular Taiwanese favorite. After pouring hot broth into the bowl, the noodles go in next, followed by a generous pile of bean sprouts almost equal in volume to the noodles. Then, thick slices of pork belly—about one centimeter thick—are arranged around the edges. Finally, plenty of garlic is added, and the signature bowl of ramen is complete.

The noodles may look rough and unappetizing, but diners at the shop slurp them up with gusto, often finishing their bowls in no time. The signature ramen at “ラ0?幞?X 梦を语れ” has a salty, rich broth and thick, chewy noodles. Though it may appear greasy at first, the addition of plenty of bean sprouts and thick slices of pork creates a surprisingly harmonious flavor. It’s so good that you won’t feel sick even after a few bites.
