Grand Formosa Regent Hsinchu Offers Peking Duck Coupons – Enjoy a Three-Way Duck Feast for Under NT$2,000

From now until March 31, 2016, Grand Formosa Regent Hsinchu’s Jiulou Chinese Restaurant is offering “Peking Duck Coupons.” Each set contains five coupons, originally priced at NT$12,100 per set, but available for a limited time at NT$9,495 per set—meaning you can enjoy three different duck dishes at a discounted price of just NT$1,899.

The signature Peking Duck at the Regent is made using cherry ducks from Yilan, roasted whole in a hanging oven until golden and crispy. The skin is sliced and served with pancakes or small Chinese buns, along with cucumber slices, scallions, and sweet bean sauce. For the second way to enjoy the duck, diners can choose one of six cooking methods: “Stir-fried Duck with Green Peppers,” “Duck Strips with Pickled Cabbage,” “Crispy Fried Duck Bones in Baked Bean Sauce,” “Three-Cup Duck Bones,” or “Fried Rice with Duck Strips.” For the third way, guests can select one of five preparation styles: “Hong Kong-style Duck Bone Congee,” “Pickled Cabbage Duck Bone Soup,” “Taro Duck Bone Rice Noodle Soup,” “Hakka Pickled Vegetable Duck Bone Soup,” or “Watercress Duck Bone Soup.” The restaurant reminds diners to make a reservation at least three days in advance.
