The super healing teddy bears are here!“2015 Happy Bear Urban Carnival”For the first time, there is a dual-city exhibition in both Taichung and Taipei. The event starts with 100 bear installations in Taichung Park on December 12, and continues at the Shilin Official Residence in Taipei on January 16, 2016. Taichung Mayor Lin Chia-lung stated that this year’s teddy bear carnival is themed “Love & Share,” which symbolizes how teddy bears can be confidants when people are sad, also bringing happiness and spreading love.

At the pre-exhibition press conference held on the 12th in Taichung City, the Bureau of Economic Development stated that this year’s large-scale happy bear installation art combines elements from various brands, and also invited local veteran painter Sun Shao-ying and Japan’s Nara-based design team amanojack design to hand-paint the bear installations.

The Taiwan Teddy Bear Association mentioned that this Happy Bear Urban Carnival will have a total exhibition duration of 68 days, 10 days longer than in 2015. This teddy bear exhibition starts in Taichung, displaying at Taichung Park from December 12, 2015, to January 14, 2016, and features special limited-time events during Christmas and New Year's.
