Remember last year's attention-grabbing paper pandas in Taiwan? At the end of this year (2015), Keelung City will welcome hundreds of “Sheep Are Coming” installations appearing in the Yangming Marine Culture and Arts Museum Square near the train station. These Taiwan-designed sheep, which once traveled to Canada for an exhibition, will accompany the public through New Year’s and Christmas from December 12 to January 17 of the following year.

Hundreds of “Sheep Are Coming” will gather in the Yangming Marine Culture and Arts Museum Square next to Keelung Train Station. The organizers said all the sheep were designed by Taiwanese designers and had previously been exhibited in Canada to promote Taiwan’s festivals. Starting December 12, hundreds of sheep will be displayed from daytime until 7 p.m. During Christmas, special DIY activities will also be held in conjunction with the holiday events.

To provide more interactive experiences, the “Sheep Are Coming” exhibition will feature not only static displays in the square but also a photo interaction zone where the public can take photos hugging the sheep. There will also be an adoption event. As for how many sheep will appear on-site, the organizers say it's still a secret—just stay tuned for the official unveiling.
