From December 1 to February 29, China Southern Airlines is offering promotions on North American routes, with fares starting from 12,000 yuan for Taipei connecting to Los Angeles/San Francisco, and 14,000 yuan for New York. There are also special business class fares starting from 64,000 yuan for Los Angeles/San Francisco.

In addition to the North American routes, starting December 7, China Southern Airlines is also offering promotions on nine cross-strait direct flight points including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guilin, Wuhan, and Guiyang, with prices starting as low as 4,888 yuan.

China Southern Airlines stated that all current routes to the Americas use new wide-body aircraft: Guangzhou–Los Angeles uses the A380, Guangzhou–San Francisco uses the 787, Guangzhou–New York uses the 777-300ER, and Taipei–Guangzhou also uses the 777-300ER model, enhancing passenger comfort in the air.
