The hottest Japanese souvenir this year has to be the “face-changing masks” that let you transform in an instant. Despite their higher per-unit price, they continue to attract travelers in droves. The trendsetter behind these masksIsshin-dō Honpo is back with a new line of character-themed face-changing masks — including Doraemon and Chibi Maruko-chan — featuring a total of six designs, now available starting December 11！

Isshin-dō Honpo’s new mask designs feature six characters in total: Doraemon, the three-lined version of Chibi Maruko-chan, Nagasawa, the protagonist Ken-shiro and his brother Raoh from “Fist of the North Star,” and Doronjo from “Yatterman.” They will be sold in two phases starting December 11.

The three characters from “Fist of the North Star” (Ken-shiro and Raoh) and “Yatterman” (Doronjo) will be launched first on the 11th; Doraemon, the three-lined Chibi Maruko-chan, and Nagasawa will go on sale starting the 22nd, with each mask priced at 430 yen.They will be available at stores such as Tokyu Hands, Loft, Haneda Airport, and the Isshin-dō Honpo official website.Why not give the face-changing fun a try?
