Travel Center / General Report
Menya Itto, which once again ranked No. 1 on Japan’s Tabelog 2017 waitlist rankings, along with its sister shop Tonkotsu Itto, will launch two limited-edition "special tsukemen" and one hidden-version ramen from Menya Itto in November. These include the Seafood and Lobster Tsukemen, the Sesame Tsukemen, and the hidden-version Rich Lobster Chicken Broth Ramen. The release dates are yet to be announced.
The Seafood and Lobster Tsukemen, launching at Menya Itto in November, was one of the limited tsukemen offerings in Japan in 2016. In Japan, it was known as the Ise Ebi Tsukemen and has since become a bestseller at Tsukemen Itto. The Taiwan version upgrades the noodle dish to a seafood and lobster variant, featuring a rich sauce made by simmering a large amount of lobster, as well as chunks of Boston lobster meat. It will be available from November 1 to November 30, with a daily limit of 20 bowls per day, each priced at NT$488.

Tonkotsu Itto will launch the Sesame Tsukemen in November. This tsukemen is an evolved version of the Tantan Tsukemen previously offered by Japan’s Niboshi Itto. It is a jointly developed and improved tsukemen by Itto’s teams in Taiwan and Japan, using a variety of imported Japanese sesame sauces. The tsukemen noodles are served with a specially prepared sesame sauce and paired with sous-vide chicken char siu. Available from November 1 to November 30, each bowl is priced at NT$210.
As for the Rich Lobster Chicken Broth Ramen, both the price and sale dates are yet to be determined. This is the latest ramen developed by Menya Itto, featuring a rich and thick lobster chicken broth specially simmered with a large amount of chicken bones, lobster, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
