The Spring Festival holiday lasts nine days, and there are three major domestic travel events: From now until 2/29, stay at Fullon Grand Hotel Kaohsiung and receive tickets to the “Legendary Sands of Mystery – Journey Through the Sand World” sand sculpture exhibition and a chocolate fondue pot; from 1/22 to 3/10, stay at Lihpao Fullon Theme Park Hotel Taichung under the New Year’s special package to admire tulips and enjoy the theme park; the Taiwan Lantern Festival is being held in Taoyuan, and both Zhongli Fullon and Taoyuan Fullon have also launched special stay packages. Guests can take advantage of the free shuttle service provided by the event organizers to visit the lantern displays while staying at Fullon hotels.

Spend your winter break in Kaohsiung to see sand sculptures. From now until 2/29, at the Pier-2 Art Center, the Lih Pah Tai “Legendary Sands of Mystery – Journey Through the Sand World” sand sculpture exhibition, led by sand sculptor JOOheng, founder of the international sand sculpture team Sandworkz, brings together sand sculptors from eight countries around the world to create sand masterpieces of global and Taiwanese landmarks, including the Great Wall of China, the Egyptian Sphinx, as well as Taiwan’s first interactive 3D sand sculpture exhibit that allows visitors to touch the artworks up close. Fullon Grand Hotel Kaohsiung, located near Pier-2, has launched a special stay package: executive city view rooms start at NT$3,999 (including a 10% service charge) on weekdays, and include two tickets to the sand sculpture exhibition and a premium double chocolate fondue set. Book 15 days in advance and pay in full to enjoy a 10% discount.

Lihpao Fullon has transformed the entire hotel into a tulip-filled Dutch village. Stay at the hotel during the New Year period to admire tulips and enjoy the theme park. From 2/6 to 2/13, the “two people, one stay with two meals including theme park tickets” package starts at NT$3,900+10% per person. The 2016 Taiwan Lantern Festival is being held in Taoyuan, with a spectacular light display area from 2/22 to 3/6 at the plaza in front of Taoyuan HSR Station to Qington Pond. Fullon Hotel Taoyuan and Fullon Hotel Zhongli have launched special lantern festival stay packages that include a themed mini lantern. In collaboration with the Taoyuan City Government Tourism Bureau, a free shuttle bus service is provided, with routes passing by both hotels so that guests can ride for free and reach the venue in about half an hour.
