In 2015, many hotels competed to invite Michelin-starred chefs to Taiwan as guest chefs, and in 2016 (this year), Mandarin Oriental has taken the lead by inviting Italian Michelin two-star chef Nicola Portinari to make a guest appearance at Bencotto Italian Restaurant from January 28 to 31. The lunch set menu starts at ¥1,800 per person, and the dinner set menu starts at ¥3,200.

Nicola Portinari’s cooking always showcases vibrant colors, offering a rich and diverse visual experience, while also infusing his dishes with endless vitality and deeply embedding the rich flavors and ingredients of traditional Italian cuisine from his childhood memories. For Chef Portinari, having color, aroma, and taste in his dishes is a basic requirement, but maintaining healthiness is his commitment. Therefore, he carefully selects the freshest ingredients that are best for the body and uses the least burdensome, low-fat cooking methods to present his creations, which is also one of the reasons his dishes are so popular.

Four-course lunch set, ¥1,800 per person + 10% service charge
Five-course lunch set, ¥2,200 per person + 10% service charge
Five-course dinner set, ¥3,200 per person + 10% service charge
Seven-course dinner set, ¥4,600 per person + 10% service charge
