Milk teas with cute themes aren’t new, but Yilan has just launched a“lightbulb bubble tea”! Upon closer look, the inside of the bulb has no filament—instead, it’s filled with chewy tapioca pearls. Its eye-catching design has drawn crowds eager to try it. But there are only 80 portions of the lightbulb bubble tea per day, and you can’t get it without making a phone reservation in advance!

The world’s first bubble tea culture museum in Yilan has just opened and is currently in its trial operation phase, with full operation expected in February. However, the “lightbulb bubble tea” has already become a hit online. Every set meal comes with a complimentary lightbulb bubble tea, while a single serving costs NT$88. The lightbulb cup can only be consumed on-site and not taken away. Additionally, the museum allows visitors to DIY their own bubble tea.
