PABLO, Japan’s No.1 freshly baked semi-melted cheese tart, opens its first Taiwan store at HOYII Taipei Main Station on January 15. The flagship store combines a dine-in area (with takeout counter), a takeaway outlet, and a three-in-one “flagship branch.” In addition to the freshly baked semi-melted cheese tart and the Gold Cheese Tart, the store also offers cheese puff pastry, sandwich cookies, and two overseas-limited layered pies. On opening day, the first 200 customers who make a purchase at the dine-in area will receive an exclusive limited-edition double-layer glass cup from PABLO. The first 500 customers at the takeaway outlet, regardless of spending amount, will receive a PABLO voucher (worth NT$500), with the top 3 additionally receiving a small PABLO gift.

The Japanese No.1 freshly baked semi-melted cheese tart brand PABLO, known for offering “surprise and happiness,” is made with an exclusive recipe and hand-mixed technique, baking fresh on-site and filling the store with the warm aroma of cheese, attracting dessert lovers from far and wide. PABLO’s dreamy dessert, the freshly baked semi-melted cheese tart, features an exclusively developed “semi-melted” baking level that makes the filling rich but not greasy, smooth and delicious. Many people in Japan are willing to wait one or two hours just to have a taste. The freshly baked matcha mochi red bean semi-melted cheese tart is handmade with imported cheese, Uji matcha powder, red bean paste, and mochi, balancing the bitterness of the matcha with the sweetness of the cheese, complemented by the rich texture of the red bean and mochi layers.

The large-sized semi-melted cheese tart comes only in original and matcha mochi red bean flavors, priced at NT$328 and NT$388 respectively. The mini semi-melted cheese tart is available in original, berry, bittersweet chocolate, matcha mochi red bean, chocolate banana, and apple cinnamon flavors. Except for the original flavor at NT$278, other flavors are NT$328 each and come with a scoop of ice cream.

The Gold Cheese Tart uses two types of premium cheese, paired with a crispy caramelized brûlée surface, delivering a rich and dense texture. Only the original flavor is sold as a whole tart, priced at NT$628. As for the smaller slices of Gold Cheese Tart, besides the original flavor, there are also matcha Gold Cheese Tart, berry Gold Cheese Tart, and brandy chocolate Gold Cheese Tart, all priced at NT$158 per slice and available for dine-in only. The two overseas-limited Hokkaido layered pies come in original and chocolate flavors, each priced at NT$128 per slice.

PABLO is introduced by HeYi Lifestyle Group. CEO Lin Chin-chieh stated that after representing Tim Ho Wan, they had been looking for a dessert brand. After trying many options, they finally discovered the extremely popular PABLO in Japan. They contacted PABLO directly and, after six months of discussions, confirmed PABLO’s entry into the Taiwan market. The first Taiwan store is located at HOYII Taipei Main Station, with plans to open 2–3 more stores this year, potentially in Taichung, Kaohsiung, and other locations. Both standalone stores and department stores are under consideration.
